Great segment on GMA this morning on "House before Spouse".
So many singles would love to own their own homes, but they believe that they should first find a partner. But why not consider some of the points they raised below:
* RENT OUT PART OF YOUR HOME
If you keep this in mind, when buying your home, you should be able to rent out a space easily. Most people are looking for a bedroom/bathroom and don't mind sharing living areas!
* YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT ALONE!
Consider getting a close friend/cousin/sibling to share the cost with you.
* BUY THE FIXER UPPER
Just start somewhere - it may not have all the fixtures and fittings you hoped for, but over time you can make the changes you want!
If you want to chat more about this, or would like some recommendations on who to speak to regarding financing your new home, contact me.
